People at the intensive care cannot always express their feelings verbally. They talk with their family by reading lips or other techniques. It only costs much time and efforts.
How it works That’s why the UMC St Radboud developed the VoICe-app. The VoICe-app is a health app, which is developed for people at the intensive care. With this app they can always show their thoughts and feelings. The app contains a lot of icons, which you can choose to express what you want or what you feel, for example how much pain you have. It also contains exercises for people who are paralyzed.
Why is it special? The app improves the quality of life for people at the Intensive Care. Using the VoICe-app and simple icons will give Intensive Care patients a better feeling. The patients save a lot of time and efforts. This video shows how it works.
