Our generation tries to be environmental friendly, but it doesn’t always work out. We have problems with finding jobs. There’s a demand for new kind of jobs because we can’t offer the whole population work these days. This leads to more self-created jobs and creativity. We need to use what we already have to make it easier for ourselves, and a little better. Make a start with Remade in Brittain!
Remade in Brittain is a website where used products are sold as new products. Sounds like something that already existed, but it’s a little different. The old products aren’t sold like the way they were. The parts of the product or the whole product is used to make something new, by hand. Hand-made products, recycled things and vintage can be bought at Remade in Britain.
Not only finished products can be sold or bought. There are many other offers. You can find materials, supplies for upcycling products, and a lot of services like workshops, cources and things like workplaces and event tickets. What they all have in common is that the items need to be british made and promote upcycling, reusing or buying second hand and help to increase sustainability.
This is a good way to reduce waste of products and material. By learning eachother how to make great new products out of old ones we can change the way of shopping and the way of decorating houses. When we get used to use old things and make it better, this world can get a better place by seeing the value of sustainable products.
When you visit Remade in Britain, you don’t always have to buy the products yourself. You can also use the site as a source of inspiration. Many things can easily made by yourself with products that you maybe already have, and that leads to a better world as well.
