Color-changing scarf (her)

My mom describes me as a fashion addicted girl who has already way too much clothing and not to forget accessories. I love to buy new shoes and new scarfs and bags, although there are always things that just lay in my closet. I do realize that it’s not necessary to buy so many new things, but I like variation. I found a solution for my scarf-addiction: color-shifting scarfs.

The scarf is like a chameleon, it changes based on mood, light and temperature. That’s why the scarf is called the ‘Chameleon Mood Scarf’. It’s made from innovative, smart textiles. It has different layers with different colors and patterns and they change in response to the various factors (mood, light and temperature).

This scarf may seem not sustainable at all, but I think it is. Cause I don’t need 10 scarfs anymore, 1 is enough to fulfill my wishes. This ensures that people need less of a certain kind of products. An implementation of this kind of development creates so many possibilities. Imagine shirts like this, or other clothing and even furniture.

When your property changes with you, it’s no longer necessary to buy new things. We can use our products much longer and the whole production will therefore change. Products like this will create a sustainable world and a sustainable way of concepting.

It’s not only a solution to sustainability but it also ensures satisfied customers. It fits perfectly with their needs so they will be more satisfied and they have to make less choices than they have to make now.
