Honeypie (her)

I love to drink and eat something with friends or family. Hours talking, ice creams, smoothies, chocolate, cute restaurants and pies are my favorites. Honeypie is a restaurant that can offer all of these little things. Handcraft and cozy design come together.

Honeypie is one of the most popular places in Middelburg where you can drink or eat something. Honeypie started as a small company where two businesses were combined, owned by mother and daughter. One part of the building was a little wool company, called Rock & Roll. In the other part there was the restaurant.

Pie, tea, fresh juices and homemade pillows from Rock & Roll lying on the chairs. The smell of fresh homemade pie, always makes you feel comfortable. After a few years, the owner closed the wool company Rock & Roll. They decided to expand Honeypie, because of it’s success.

Every product has their own beauty. All the products look like they were taken directly from beautiful photo’s on blogs like tumblr. And it doesn’t just look great, it also tastes great. Every week they have a special new homemade pie, which is promoted on their Facebook page. Honeypie is just so popular among all women in Middelburg. If you just want to have a high-tea with your birthday or have a talk with your friends. It’s always cosy and it feels a bit like coming home.
